Currently, DES has 2 Cash Deposit Machine located at headquarter old airport and Seria Branch. Its function is to allow public community to purchase prepaid token or pay monthly bill (postpaid).
If DES has 10 more new CDMs, where would you like to see or have it?
Why do you prefer CDMs compared to other alternative services such as online, PowerKad, SMS, Banks services, Mobile Apps?
In reference of this question, I would like to submit my answer as YES, there should be more DES CDM in Brunei.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't find one in Tutong Electrical Office (new and also the old building). I assume there is none in the new building because the gates are locked after office hours. I assume there's none in the old building because there is no sign of it.
It would be nice to have DES CDM at banks example the BIBD building in KB (V-plaza) or Baiduri Finance in Tutong. Or maybe one in Supasave or Giant, right next to the BIBD ATMs.
Furthermore, it would ease a lot of people (especially elder citizens who still use DES CDM instead of online banking to purchase this prepaid) if there are at least 2 units installed in every branch. One unit is clearly not enough. The queue tends to be quite long especially during the first 3 days of the month.
Hope this information is useful and helpful.
Thank you for the comment. For your info, DES has partner with DST Incomm for CDM prepaid token services. CDM is available at DST Central Mall Tutong.
